Description

WPTI and JobsFirstNYC is excited to present the summer session of the Job Developers' Networking Breakfast. Recognizing the important work of New York City’s job developers, this event provides a space for people working in a direct service capacity - whose primary job is to work with employers and jobseekers - to come together, share and communicate ideas and resources.

This session of the Job Developers' Networking Breakfast will focus on JobsFirstNYC's recent report co-produced with The Community Service Society of New York: Barriers to Entry: Fewer Out-of-School, Out-of-Work Young Adults, As Warning Signs Emerge.

Marjorie Parker, President and CEO of JobsFirstNYC and Kevin Stump, Vice President, Policy, Communications, and In-School Practice, will provide an overview of the report, highlight key data points, and present a comprehensive strategy to address the challenges identified in the report. Attendees will also share their perspectives of the challenges and solutions as it relates to their work supporting job seekers.
